Lake was billed as "The Greatest There Was vs. The Greatest There Is"
or "Rick Clunn vs. Kevin VanDam." But as it turned out, that shootout
never materialized. Instead, VanDam faltered, Clunn stumbled, and Timmy
Horton seemingly came out of nowhere to pass Rick and challenge Kevin.

Tue, 20 May 2008 Four hours into day one of the Carolina Clash on Lake Murray, Fred Roumbanis was worried he might actually blank. He miscalculated on a big bedding bass and then missed his chance to tap into the blue back herring bite that the rest of the Elite field was chasing. But in short order, Fred went from "zero" to "zeroed in" on a topwater frog bite.
